Been trying to work out what it was to login for years.
These companies don’t realise their most engaged users generate a disproportionate amount of their content.
They will just go to their own spaces.
I think this a good thing in the long run, the internet will become decentralised again.

It doesn’t appear that a recession is on it’s way but rather the free money that was flowing into the IT sector is causing all these companies to become profitable fast.
Thus the lay-offs.
The current system is because it has incentives for short term profiteering over steady long term profits.
There could be tax reforms to more tax capital gains for stocks held for short periods of time and discounts for stocks sold after longer periods.
This wouldn’t be a magic fix but a good first step.
