Did you install Steam via flatpak or normally?
Did you install Steam via flatpak or normally?
Privacy - the main reason. Besides for that were a lot of annoying and ridiculous reasons to switch like:
BSOD in the middle of gaming/meeting/etc,
forced updates that made it impossible to shutdown your pc without installing an update first
I could name further and further but those are the main reasons. Now I’m using Debian for 2 years and it is the best distro by far.
Yep, the best of the best :)
Does anyone have experience with Fairphone? Im gonna buy new phone and need recommendation
I’m using Mullvad browser for over a year on Linux and I can recommend. It’s basically TBB without TOR
Sorry I meant mullvad browser, not Mull.
Mull is for Android. Thanks for correction :)
Mull browser is decent too
I prefer Debian, my favourite distro by far
Avoid Google Play Store. Use Aurora store instead.
So segma 🙏🏻🙏🏻😈😈😈
Am I living under a rock? because I’ve never heard of Rocky and Almalinux lol
Wtf is even “ASTRA”
LOL, it finally loaded for me after few moments
Flatpak is the best - thats all you need to know!!!
But seriously, apart from obvious things other people have said, I would like to add that the HUGE advantage of flatpak is that each app is using its own dependencies, this way you can avoid dependency hell, which is mostly time-consuming and hard to fix.
Its only in Android version, not flatpak version
I recently realised that TAILS uses Wayland. For whole time I’ve been thinking that it uses X11 like Debian by default, but to my surprise, it doesn’t.
nvidia fucking sucks, after each kernel update theres issues with installing drivers and theres nothing I can do except for waiting for nvidia to release newer drivers
