Yeah that part’s a confusing mess. I moved to Linux on my gaming PC a year ago and have been pleasantly surprised multiple times but not with installers!
Don’t make me go get Bobby tables. Sanitize your inputs, don’t blame the data!
Just a default install of 365 and the only thing that popped up on the screen was teams. It was a separate uninstaller, which was nice I guess? But you have to dig through the 30 language un installers for 365 to find it.
The worst part about snaps isn’t the fact that their packaged like Windows files, it’s that it makes updating everything on your computer confusing as fuck when you don’t really want to ever think about it.
I can’t really think of a reason why 10 is listed as good, does it actually do something better than 7? Even just graphical interface?
I’m using kubuntu right now. Test it out fedora for about 3 hours before I ran into a bug and went back to the KUbuntu hard drive. Normie means it just works, or at the very least googling the answer leads to good solutions. Only ubuntu has that
Job complete. Good work team
Any of the unigine benchmarks work great. As long as you record which settings you use for each test. I just got done overclocking my 1070 using heaven and superposition.
I used greenwithenvy to do the OC itself
Yeah, just still not enough to get past the “tinkerers only” mentality of the Linux environment.
I’ve been trying to get Street fighter 6 running for a while now but it still has issues in proton. Overall it runs better than Windows by far, but in certain parts of the game the lighting goes wild and soft locks my computer by maxing out the GPU.
So it’s not all roses in Linux gaming, but it does exist which is nice.
Can you test. paint.net for me
