Oh no! Not the nipple of the wrong gender!
Know how to use it, understand the basic file system structure, know basic commands (ls, which, cat, mkdir, chmod)
This is good advice, but I would add having a bootable Linux distro on a usb, and using more and more until you find yourself not needing Windows, then move to Linux with just it or a dual boot configuration with Windows as a fallback
The thing about arch, is that if you have a basic understanding of the terminal and computers, the arch wiki can get from that level to a real expert.
So if you ask me, anyone with a basic understanding of the terminal, and a goal to improve, should go with arch.
One important thing to remember is the that battery capacity is unlikely to improve anymore, we should mostly improve charging, lifespan, safety, etc.
I doubt that we will ever see batteries that have much more capacity per weight than what we have now.
I don’t think that’s scapegoating, that’s just cutting costs (which they are great at, judging by the quality of their CPUs)
Honestly, having a huge window that is also a TV sounds great.
Want some natural light and a nice view? Got that window.
Want a nice big TV? One click and the room darkens and you get a huge screen.
Hmmm, how can you type then?
Suspicious!
Nah, best way to learn is to fuck your shit up until you fucked it back into a usable state
My OS is also a tool!
Those jerk OSs and their bullying!
Fuck yes, I would follow that fox wherever needed!
If you didn’t fuck up a few partition tabels you are a normie
Weird word choice, I get the point but they are presenting it all wrong by calling it ordinary or simple.
Honestly, brilliant move, even if the commercial sucks this is one of those “no bad publicity” situations since everyone is going to talk about the first AI commercial.
But after watching this ad, it honestly looks pretty good, slight uncanny vibes but if I just took it as “artistic choice” (ironic I know) of actually feels like a really nice ad
I can tell you that this exists way before AI, I wish that there was more awareness earlier but it’s good that now its starting
Dude, not having root is objectively safer, and grapheneOS is security first.
If you want a rom that gives you absolute freedom, there are those as well, but it’s not as secure.
P.S you can root grapheneOS, it’s just not recommended or catered to and while I don’t agree with their tone and the obfuscation of it, I don’t think it matters as it just completely goes against security.
