Yeah it’s not the best option. But it did popularize the form factor

I think most PowerA controllers don’t have gyro or NFC. PowerA is what you’re most likely to find as a 3rd party controller.
On the other hand, you can play with your hands in completely different locations which is nice for being lazy on a couch.
Has this changed? It used to be that sexting was explicitly just referring to sending nudes and the surrounding horny conversation. If you’re right, the definition has broadened to include flirting or locker room humor.
What should really happen is Dr Disrespect should release the DMs (after redacting any details of the minor) so we can stop speculating about how bad this is.
They claimed that the government was focusing on this one issue when really it was a small part of a much larger legislation. Whether it’s good or bad is a separate judgement.
This was part of an overall package including aid to Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan.
Personally, I just find it really disappointing. This Tik Tok issue could have been an opportunity to improve privacy and reduce data collection across the board. Instead, it’s a surgical strike in order to not disrupt American tech companies doing the same thing.
What will happen is that Bytedance will sell the US Tik Tok to an American VC firm and it will continue data hoarding as before. This time, the US government will be getting the data instead of the CCP. I’d rather nobody got it.
If you’re trying to play with your son, Smash Ultimate is good. It also has a good amount of single-player content.
When I worked in a factory, all the old country maintenance guys and techs were on tik Tok during their breaks.
I had the same bug recently but only for one person’s number. I had an old number saved alongside their current one. Deleting the old number fixed it for me.
Then, the sequels were so consistently mediocre that the original was more or less erased from history.
I will not have you slander Battlefield Vietnam like this. I spent countless hours on a “heliwars” server after school as a kid.

I’m a Wikipedia addict but I’m not complaining
I almost exclusively use the app called Transit. It uses OSM data and shows live tracking for buses and trains (at least it does in my city). It’s good for figuring other options like walking, cycling, bike share.
Why do they want to step into what we are doing here?
I think there’s a much simpler explanation. Elon’s actions are causing users to want to leave the platform. Meta wants to pounce on this opportunity. ActivityPub is an established, open source protocol that allows Meta to quickly spin up a Twitter competitor. The federated nature means that Meta can reduce regulatory risk. At the same time, they can lobby for increased scrutiny of Twitter since it isn’t interroperable like Threads.
I have no idea if this is actually how Meta is strategizing. But what I definitely know is that Meta absolutely doesn’t consider federated social media a threat. They aren’t trying to squash us. They’re aimed at Twitter. If they make some change that degrades the experience for us, absolutely we should consider defederation. Until then, let’s try to make some converts out of Threads users.
That probably would’ve been true even if they did follow through.
You might be right. It does seem like we’re entering another golden age of fighting games. But fighting games don’t have nearly the audience of some of the other genres. Most people who buy Mortal Kombat don’t even play online. It’s not like a lot of shooters or MOBAs where it’s a daily ritual for huge numbers of people. The people who are like that, are really like that, but it just isn’t a lot.
In the same vein: I hope they make a new Killer Instinct. PS4 was THE console for fighting games last generation. Microsoft is sitting on IP that would create a lot of hype for a sequel in the fighting game community. The dual sense controller is rumored to have a mushy D-pad while the Xbox controller has a very clicky one. Microsoft could make a real statement about fighting games having a home on the Xbox. To me, it seems like a really obvious strategic decision. The only problem is that fighting games are relatively niche so the weight of that decision isn’t too high.
I’m using my leverless modified Quanba Obsidian for SF6. I really like it and it packs into a bag a lot easier than a traditional stick. My only gripe with virtually all leverless: the directions and attacks are too close together. I get that the up button is meant to be usable by both thumbs but I only ever use it with my left thumb. More often, I’ll accidentally bump it with my right thumb or bump an attack with my left index. Maybe one day I’ll make a custom faceplate but not anytime soon.
We’re talking about leftists here. The #staged and #flaseflag ideas are conspiracy theories that the would-be assassin was actually planted by Trump to boost his campaign. These are theorized by people that don’t like Trump.
