A lot of Linux distros load most system required processes into memory, which is why you can update while using the system. This would also allow you to (probably) delete everything.
It sounds terrible but I still love it
You cannot update to a modern version of unity, or install any unity version anymore technically. I think bc they outline the ability to use the license without updating versions you should be okay.

I think bugsnax might fit, it takes until near the end of the game for the horror aspect to begin, and then it hits hard. Look up the ending so you can screen it for him and make sure it’s appropriate.
Additionally, if you have a spotty 10gbs connection, you’ll still have a bad experience. The maximum capabilities of something doesn’t define how it can be used in the real world. I’m not denying some people can use it just fine, but it’s not mainstream for a reason.
