At the price of the Pixel 8a, I would suggest getting the Pixel 8 instead.

I’m running Graphene OS and its been solid. A few issues here and there with app compatibility but it is fantastic.
A lot of the times it would be to replace screens under warranty. On multiple occasions we would get “I went to bed with it on my nightstand and when I woke up the screen was shattered” When the phone had been clearly dropped. I’m glad I got out of that business when I did. The constant mental burden of people blaming you for their phone not working was unbearable.
I worked at a phone repair shop for almost a decade and fixed hundreds if not thousands of phones. It was rare to see this but when I did it was a Samsung and it had been dropped. The glass would be fine but the OLED would be wrecked. I also had many people lie about what happened to their phone when it was obviously dropped.
Yeah that’s the one I saw
There are even companies slapping AI labels onto old tech with timers to trick people into buying it.
They need Linux developers to do that
I’m running LMDE, I wonder if that will ever get updated.
I’ve heard this a lot but haven’t seen any mention of anyone dying. Do you have a source?
VR is a gimmick, it’s funny Apple waited so long and outpriced themselves.
I love to hear it. Linux has done pretty much everything I’ve needed it to to and it’s great to see a lot of programs are available for Linux natively.
I switched to Linux Mint Debian edition when the Reddit thing happened. I’m glad I did before Windows got this bad.
I had quit in October of that year because I found a much better job that I ended up working at for 11 years. In those few short months though it was wild all the things that happened in that store. That store was in a mall and it didn’t last a year after I quit. They had a going out of business sale and I got a ton of arduino stuff for 75% off.
I worked at Radio Shack in 2012 for a few months and was told by my boss that if a customer wasn’t there to buy a cell phone, be as little help to them as possible.
What is being done with the information?
Why does that matter?
I’ve been using Linux Mint Debian Edition for about a year now it’s worked almost flawlessly. I love it.
That’s like climbing down into the sewer and complaining there’s shit.
If only they made their batteries easier to replace so this would be a non issue.
I’m sure Google contactless payment works really well when the phone is dead. Or you drop your phone in a toilet or off a bridge. It’s far easier to loose a phone than a card in a wallet in your pocket. If you lose your phone, you also lose access to all your money.
