It’ll run Johnny Castaway just fine.

Motorola has ⅔ of that on many models.
Removable battery not an option though.
Whatever you get, avoid running it at 100% brightness. This will likely extend its lifespan.
I rarely have mine on, but that’s because a mate snapped the antenna off. It’s got one Slim Dusty tape in it, and most of the time only the left speaker works.
The Bluetooth speaker on the dash plays the poddies, and holding the volume button on the phone skips any ads.
Someone should make Sponsorblock for poddies.
Good point!
Not sure what I got blocked from. Might poke around later and see. Guess I upset a bot by using a colon or something.
Downloaded it. Signed up. Replied to a post about rechargeable batteries. Account got restricted. Left.
Only an issue if you don’t disable fast shutdown on Windows. A hibernated system might get surprised if another OS moves files about while it was asleep.
Don’t run them at full brightness and you should be ok.
My moto g84 has most of that I think. The only things that let it down are the mediocre camera and the speaker volume that jumps from just a little too quiet to rather loud. For $AU300 I’m quite happy.
I’m using Fing 10.3.0 - a version before it was enshittified. Not sure where I got the apk from.
I don’t update apps until they break. Never know when an update is going to enshittify an app. (Fing, etc.)
I’ll have another look. Didn’t seem to be an option to have it on a Windows guest when I installed it.
Same.
The lack of graphics acceleration is a bit painful though.
VirtualBox won’t work on Fedora 40 AFAICT, and once installed it can’t be uninstalled.
On the plus side, #5 can relax at last.
… and suddenly Netflix disappears from it.
Up next: mouse cartridges.
Used to run it on my z80 back in the day, before moving on to WordPerfect 5.1.
No, but VNC will work. It just doesn’t have sound.
I blame Ian Dury.
Possibly NSFW.
