Hezbollah boot licking much?
Fediverse is worse than Reddit. Mod abuse, admin abuse, disinformation and people circle jerking each other off like they have it all figured out.
Hezbollah boot licking much?
I cannot imagine how you’d cause this via a cyberattack. I’m sure they manipulated the devices somehow. Crazy move though. I struggled reading the first headline (not this one), because I just could not fathom that they mean actual literal pagers.
Because Arch users would’ve shunned me for asking for support when I don’t use literal Arch.
I’m specifically talking about the EOS forum, which was just dicks throwing insults towards me having a support request and the admins consequently closing the thread and hiding it, telling me to make a new one if I still need support.
Can’t recommend EOS. Awful community when something breaks. Definitely not something for people coming from Windows.
Ubuntu’s packet manager Apt was already kind of awful in many ways, especially with its PPA hell. But them adding Snap packages somehow managed to make them reach even new levels of awful.
I don’t think so, it’s just what I’m more familiar with and I usually try to avoid apt’s PPA hell as much as I can. But maybe I should try some others, as I couldn’t get Mullvad to run either yet. :/
Text gen web ui I tried quite a while before I went to koboldcpp on my previous distro and I could not get that to run without crashing whenever I tried to generate anything. Sillytavern is my standard frontend that I use, so any text gen software should inherently compatible with that anyway.
6650 XT.
Honestly no idea. When I run
make LLAMA_HIPBLAS=1 GPU_TARGETS=gfx1032 -j$(nproc)
in the Fedora distrobox on kobolcpp it throws a bunch of
fatal error: 'hip/hip_fp16.h' file not found
36 | #include <hip/hip_fp16.h>
errors and koboldcpp does not give an option to use Vulkan.
It’s like floating tabs in Firefox, which I still hate to the bone.
At the moment I just don’t. I got kobolcpp to run through distrobox / boxbuddy but I can’t get it to compile with rocm, so I can only use CPU generation, which is abysmally slow. Might go back to NovelAI when they release their new model if I can’t find a solution.
Used it years ago, it’s pretty, when it works… but it kept breaking and messing up other things.
Even worse on Linux. Even worse on more exotic distros like Bazzite where I still can’t get koboldcpp to run, which was already kind of a hassle on my previous distro.
I’m amazed that YouTube doesn’t try and do this somehow.
They do. They even give the creator statistics on which thumbnail generated more clicks (completely ignoring other factors so it’s a misleading metric anyway).
It’s no one’s fault. It’s a system that creates a race to the bottom.
Hard disagree. It’s everyone’s fault who actually supports the practice in some form or another.
DeArrow hopes to stop this cycle. It’s time to return to a more peaceful experience.
It would just “hide” the clickbait, which would cause people who block clickbait, to suddenly click on clickbait, further supporting the clickbait norm through additional clicks that weren’t there before.
Fucking hell. The word “AI” really lost all fucking meaning huh? Not just is it not applicable to LLMs, it’s especially not the correct term to use for ordinary spam bots, which exist for decades by now.
Unfortunately so.
As a non American I’m more salty about Oculus. lol Although at its height it was also severely annoying that every freaking company used FB pages instead of their own websites, including for support requests. So without FB you literally could not contact them. Luckily that trend only held up for a few years but it was still annoying as hell.
Still using the fat oversized buttons. No thanks.
Assuming he did not upload the whole movie or demanded money for those scenes, I don’t see how that’s a good case for the copyright holder. Movie snippets are used all the time, everywhere, including YouTube, without this being much of an issue. The most glaring one there would be the auto detection, which again, is more to prevent actual piracy being shared.
Edit: Also, why is he getting arrested instead of getting a letter?!
I’m amazed that people apparently trust not just sensitive Chinese hardware, such as mobile phones, but even whole Chinese operating systems.
