As technology marches on, some people get trapped using decades-old software and devices. Here's a look inside the strange, stubborn world of obsolete Windows machines.
Not really but better than derive it from a place of such monumental hybris and ignorance to think they can patch their windows 7 at par with Microsoft themselves. There is a reason no one serious uses win 7 online anymore. Same reason cars without seatbelts are few on the roads.
I don’t think I’m “at par” with Microsoft, what kind of sickness is this? Your brain fascinates me.
“There is a reason no one serious uses win 7 online anymore”
Oh I see, you are a serious person doing serious business. Serious serious serious. Meanwhile not a single concrete example has been given to me about these serious things I can’t do.
“Same reason cars without seatbelts are few on the roads.”
There is no overlap between the physical world and software delusions. There is no physical safety hazard here. Meanwhile, millions of motorcyclists use no seatbelts.
You have provided no substantive evidence of what I can’t do with Windows 7. You have provided nothing but vague fear-mongering while inflating your chest about what a biker bad-ass you are.
Yet you refuse to see that other people also make trade-offs. My tradeoff is that sometimes I can’t install piece of shit software like KiCAD that somehow requires Windows 11 to move lines on a screen.
I have never said that you can do things with windows 7 I said it was not secure. My analogy was more intended for showing trade off that can be made for security. Apologies if it came out another way

Again, your brain is fascinating.
Il have some of that ,whatever it is you are smoking.
Yea im kind of serious when it comes to my it security , not everyone can clown around with it.
Yea we bikers don’t care that much for safety, the trade off is worth it.
Not sure what the benificial trade off for using an ancient OS is though. Hipster points at your local coffee shop maybe?
And yea i answered your question. Read again.
Oh and thanks for the compliment, i also find it fascinating.

No big loss.
