An investigation by Gamers Nexus found LG smart TVs sweep local networks to map phones and nearby devices. Tests also showed the sets can capture microphone audio with the screen off — they then upload data once reconnected to the internet.

    there is no pihole device, it is just a software you run on linux. you can run it on any kind of computer, desktop, laptop, raspberry or a cheaper SBC, even on old smartphones (but, due to it needing to bind to a port lower than 1000 the phone needs to be rooted first), even on your home rputer if it can run openwrt. but you likely want to have it on something that does not consume much power, because this will be running 24/7
