As soon as I hear an “AI-blip” the facade is ruined and I figuratively hear nails on the chalkboard from then on. Partly because than I can hear everything else uncanny. But also because now I’m mentally quadruple checking everything they’re saying because I have reasonable expectation that there will be mistakes.
Like it’s especially disappointing because a lot of ai-gen content is on less covered topics. But that means you doubly can’t trust what you’re watching because you have way less sources to compare it to (and for it to steal from).
Yeah, I was really disappointed when William Osman made an entire sponsored video with Anthropic. Like, the guy has built his entire channel on creating things, runs a convention at least once a year where other makers can show off their creations, and then he makes an entire video about how great AI is.
That’s pretty disappointing, watched his content a ton years ago. I feel like Ai has that reverse Midas touch.
