I would actually prefer this tbf, as long as it isn’t forcing a biometric option I can see this being super useful as a deterrent for people who have biometrics set up. Being said, locking the ability to change the wifi and bluetooth state is also a good change.
Being said… I don’t see any situation where law enforcement could verify ownership… who walks around knowing the IMEI of the device, and if a cop can just call a carrier and find who owns a device based off an IMEI that is a grievous misuse of data and privacy.
